David Ball, Grapevine resident, goes the extra mile to raise money for burn survivors that attend Parkland's burn camp each year.

Community Support

Through Parkland Foundation, the Dallas community can invest in the future of Parkland Health & Hospital System.  Parkland relies on support from the philanthropic community to ensure its excellence and to provide the infrastructure necessary to meet a growing mission for the future.

Whether individually or through a larger group, you have the opportunity to support Dallas' only public hospital. While serving as a safety net provider for the county's indigent population, Parkland serves every citizen in Dallas County in a number of ways: 1) it is the premier trauma center in the region, standing ready 24-7 for all; 2) it is the premier burn unit in the region; 3) its provision of care for a large percentage of the indigent population helps to keep other local healthcare systems economically viable, thus affecting healthcare for all.

Parkland builds upon its public support to collaborate with providers in fighting disease, healing illness, promoting medical progress, and pressing forward to create and define the new frontiers of health care.

Not every institution is substantial enough, nor critical enough, to attract funds from both the public and private sectors.  In its unique role, Parkland stands as one of the most deserving of such institutions.

We invite you to learn about a few of the members of our community who have given to Parkland.
