Governance

The Board of Directors for Parkland Foundation includes no less than 21 and no more than 35 members, all distinguished community leaders who provide governance for Parkland Foundation. The Board of Managers for the Dallas County Hospital District, dba, Parkland Health & Hospital System, appoints up to 18 directors (with one appointee to be an active member of the Board of Managers), including the Chair of the Dallas County Hospital District Board of Managers and President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkland Health & Hospital System. Up to 17 directors are elected. Officers of the Foundation include Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkland Foundation, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer. Appointees of Crystal Charity Ball, Junior League of Dallas, Junior Charity League and Dallas County Medical Society serve ex officio as required by these community funding organizations.
